Roof leaks usually start after about 10-12 years when the plumbing pipe seals dry rot. When chimneys leak, they require pan, step, and counter flashings in aluminum or copper cut bent into the brick and sealed together interwoven with the shingles. We will build a watertight seal to last the lifetime of the roof. We only use quality materials that will last, we never use tar.

Do you do skylights?

Skylights are a beautiful window for the roof. When skylights start to leak, it's time to replace them. The glass seal goes bad, or the roof flashing is compromised. Repairing them is a waste of money unless they are less than 10 years old, so a full replacement is often necessary. The glass we use is Low-E, which helps with energy efficiency, and the brand we stand by is Velux.
